Highly efficient mixing
All Statiflo mixers, regardless of whether they are in the pipe or in the channel, are designed in such a way that the greatest possible mix is achieved. Our product range contains the most powerful mixers currently available on the market. This has been proven in independent tests by BHR Ltd. The required mixer section and energy consumption (here pressure loss) were examined here for a given mixing quality.
Low energy consumption
Despite an extremely high mixing quality, we achieve low energy consumption – i.e. low pressure loss in pipes or loss of energy height in ducts. (e.g. 7 mm WS at 621 million l / d)
Statiflo mixers are often retrofitted without reducing the existing pump capacity. In most cases the mixers can also be used in gravimetric systems.
When switching from dynamic to static mixers, up to 90% of energy costs can be saved.
No moving parts for maintenance-free operation
Unlike dynamic mixers, static mixers have no moving parts and are therefore almost maintenance-free. There is no need to store spare parts.
No direct energy input required
The energy required is usually referred to as the pressure drop. No electric motors or direct power are required.
In many cases, tanks are unnecessary
Almost all mixing tasks can be completed in the pipeline or in channels, additional tanks / containers are superfluous.
Easy installation
No special knowledge is required to install Statiflo mixers. As a rule, they are used like a simple piece of pipe, taking into account the direction of flow.
Minimal space requirement
Statiflo mixers are compact and efficient and can, if necessary, find space in very confined spaces. In some cases even in pipe bends.
Completely integrated into the pipeline
All Statiflo mixers are completely integrated into the pipeline and do not require a shaft seal such as Agitator tank or dynamic pipe mixer. This prevents both the contamination of the environment with dangerous or corrosive products and the contamination of high-purity products from outside, e.g. in food and in the pharmaceutical industry, where no contamination whatsoever can be tolerated.
Optionally with dosing and sampling points
Integrated injectors, both permanently installed and expandable during operation, and sampling points can also be offered for almost all of our mixers.
In addition to installing the dosing points for operation, standby lances are also useful for 100% trouble-free operation. The shortest distance (also in terms of time) between injection and sampling guarantees the safest process control with the lowest possible delay between dosing and sampling and thus the lowest consumption of chemicals. Mixing elements and thus energy can often be saved through optimized dosing.
Optionally with heating or cooling jacket
Mixing and heat exchange are linked to one another in many areas. This is especially the case with highly viscous products and heat-sensitive products.
Available in all sizes
Statiflo mixers are available in all standard pipe dimensions. There are no theoretical limits in open or closed channels. “CUSTOM MADE” is very important to us.
Available in almost all materials
Our mixers are not only available in all conventional metallic materials and plastics. We also deliver e.g. Titanium or PTFE coated GRP pipe mixer.
Custom designed
Each mixer is carefully designed according to customer-specific data. For large systems, we calculate the savings in operating costs in relation to the acquisition costs and when the mixer has amortized. Don’t compromise if you don’t have to.
